Our sister company has built the plugin “Sync Mautic” that integrates with WordPress / WooCommerce to sync to Mautic. Easily add forms and tag leads on your WordPress site with the Mautic shortcode. You can even connect OptinMonster using webhooks to pass leads into Mautic. Tag leads with categories or brands they purchased from your WooCommerce store and collect their email at checkout.
Interested in getting the plugin? We’re sending it free for a limited time to anyone who joins our newsletter.
The below form is generated from the plugin shortcode.
We don’t sell your email to 3rd parties.
WordPress Features
- Mautic shortcode to embed optin forms with template and tag attributes.
WooCommerce Features
- Add a checkbox to checkout to add the customer’s email as a lead in Mautic.
- Sync the categories and/or brands of products the customer has purchased as tags in Mautic.
OptinMonster Features
- Enables integration with OptinMonster through webhooks.

thanks Johnny, this is awesome. A question if I may – is there any plan to sync products purchased in Mautic too?
Kristan thank you for your suggestion. Could you elaborate a bit more? Currently it will tag contacts that have purchased from specific product categories so you can build your own segment to market to those contacts, are you saying you’d like the ability to tag contacts with purchases of specific products as well?
Yep, that’s exactly what I mean. Our shop sells a fairly wide range of products. We could tag by general categories or by manufacturer but it’d be nice to tag by specific product purchased too.
I had an example earlier this week where I found out that there’ s a new firmware for gadget we sell – it’d be nice to target this group of users with an email campaign. True I could just tag this specific product but I’d have to know in advance which products might suit this sort of tagging. If contacts were tagged with every product they purchase I can segment my campaign any way I wanted down the track.
I believe this would be pretty easy to add by just modifying the order cron to also pass product information. We’ll look into it this week and possibly have it added by next week. Thank you for your suggestion.
We have released 1.0.7. This version includes tagging products. We’ve added a checkbox to resync past orders. After updating you’ll check the product checkbox and the resync checkbox and click save. It will then resync all the orders. There appears to have been a bug in the updater, so you’ll need to install the new version manually, be sure to take a backup first.
Changelog
Added: Tagging products
Added: Resync checkbox so when checked and saved, it will trigger a new sync. Useful if you change order tagging options
Added: Version migration to handle order sync changes
Added: Version constant to make version changes easier
Updated: Order tagging to use checkboxes instead of dropdowns since the addition of product tagging would make the dropdown unmanageable.
Removed: Version check method
Bugfix: Updater
hi Johnny,
thank you – I thought I’d try the 1.0.7 version for a week or so before replying… our shop doesn’t get *that* much traffic so I needed a week or so to see how things were.
I ticked the box to sync products (so I have all 3 checkboxes ticked at this point), clicked save then ticked the box to resync past orders and clicked save again and waited.
The sync finished but I’m not seeing product purchases against contacts. The only tag I’m seeing against a contact is “WooCommerce”.
Appreciate your time on this.
Did it previously work with tagging categories? Could you please send the logs under WooCommerce -> Status -> Logs -> sync-mautic to contact@dogbytemarketing.
